Overview
ReceiptVault is a local-first receipt organizer. The current release does not require an account to use the core product.
ReceiptVault Privacy Policy
This policy describes the current local-first version of ReceiptVault.
Data handled
The app can store receipt images, merchant name, amount, currency, purchase date, section, category, and optional notes so you can organize everyday and warranty receipts.
Storage and permissions
Receipt metadata is stored in the local SQLite database on your device. Receipt images are stored on-device in the app's local asset layer. Camera and photo library access are only used when you choose to capture or import a receipt image.
Sharing and backup
ReceiptVault does not require a hosted backend for core use. If you export a backup, the app creates a local JSON file that you choose where to save or share.
Third-party services
The current app does not require sign-in, subscription billing, or AI receipt parsing for its core features. If cloud, billing, or AI features are added later, this policy should be updated before release.
Your controls
You can delete individual receipts, clear all local data, and export a backup from Settings.
